Your tasks

As an (in-house) IT project manager, you will support our team in exciting software projects for our national and international customers and play a decisive role in the successful introduction and customer-specific adaptation of our software solutions. Your projects will typically cover the following areas:

  • Access and identity management (BAYOOSOFT Access Manager) and e-mail encryption (gpg4o) or
  • Digitization of documentation processes, e.g. technical documentation of medical devices or QMS/ISMS (BAYOOSOFT Themis)
  • Key account management in the mainframe sector

This is what you can expect:

  • Project management & controlling:
    • Project management for customer projects, in particular for customer-specific configurations of our software solutions
    • Coordination of the project team (Service Engineering & Development) and external partners to ensure effective collaboration and communication
    • Responsibility for the planning, control, monitoring and reporting of projects in terms of time, budget and quality
    • Ensuring that the quality of individual solutions is guaranteed before delivery to the customer
  • Customer advice and finding solutions:
    • Advising our customers on the best possible solution, ideally by configuring etc. our products (close coordination with our Service Engineer experts)
    • Developing solutions in collaboration with product management if the standard solution and configuration are not sufficient
    • Recording and analyzing customer requirements, creating backlogs and user stories
    • Obtaining internal cost estimates, preparing customized offers, taking over project management & coordination until implementation at the customer’s site
  • Support for existing customers:
    • Project management and contact person for our customers who work with established software solutions
    • Conducting annual meetings with our customers to ensure customer satisfaction
    • Identification and implementation of cross-selling potential
  • Product management support:
    • Close cooperation with our product management
    • Support in the further development of our software solutions
    • Incorporating customer feedback
  • Project Coordinator Mainframe:
    • Coordination of the mainframe team
    • Close cooperation with our key account customer
    • Communication of project status and cost estimates

Your profile

  • Completed studies or training in the field of (business) informatics or professional experience in a comparable position with an affinity for complex software solutions
  • Practical experience in project management, ideally in the field of customer-specific adaptations or configurations
  • Process-, customer- and solution-oriented thinking and acting
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills
  • Strong communication and conceptual skills as well as a good feel for customer needs
  • Confident demeanor, persuasiveness and assertiveness
  • Experience with agile methods such as Scrum & Extreme Programming an advantage
