What thinking along with us means

More than two decades ago, we realized that the best projects are not created where requirements are processed, but where someone thinks two steps ahead. This realization became our mission statement. And the term BAYOONET colleagues use to describe themselves: Co-thinkers.

This shapes how we develop software, manufacture hardware, advise customers and interact with each other. Anyone who starts here not only brings a skillset with them, but also an opinion, which they can express at any time.

Continuous further training

Because further training is important to us, we have our own budget for this. There are also internal tech talks, task forces for new topics, external training courses and the BAYOONIVERSITY, our course by colleagues for colleagues.

Fixed place, no hotdesking

Every co-thinker has a desk with us. Height-adjustable, multiscreen setup, ergonomically designed. No daily chair fights, no “where were my things again”. Your desk stays yours, even if you’ve been working from home for two days.

Locations with personality

In concrete terms, this means: BAYOONET-Ape in Darmstadt, desk treadmill in Berlin, roof terraces in Munich and anyone who has ever sat in our meeting rooms “Baustelle”, “Kaminzimmer” or “Space Lab” knows that someone has put some thought into the furnishings.

TRAINING AND STUDIES

Start your IT career at BAYOONET

Some of our senior colleagues have completed their training here, others their internship, others have written their bachelor’s thesis. We have been providing training ourselves since 2023 and are a permanent cooperation partner of universities and the Darmstadt Chamber of Industry and Commerce. In other words, we have experience in meeting you where you are. In addition to student traineeships, we also offer cooperative study programs and apprenticeships.

Education

IT specialist in application development (m/f/d). Three years, with real projects from the first month – no copying jobs. In close cooperation with the IHK Darmstadt.

Dual study program

Practice at BAYOONET, theory at your university. We work together with DHBW, Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences and others. If yours is not there, talk to us, we usually find a way.

Work-study program

Software, UX, marketing, sales, HR – all areas take working students. You work on a real project, not a coffee machine. And you get paid a fair wage for it.

Internship & thesis

Compulsory or voluntary internship or Bachelor’s/Master’s thesis. You get a real topic, a professional supervisor and access to data and code. No slide presentation at the end, but work that stays.
