Your tasks

As a (Presales) Solution Consultant in the field of Identity & Access Management (IAM), you ensure that interested parties understand and comprehend our solutions in the right technical context – especially in complex, regulated and security-critical environments.

You navigate the conflicting priorities of IT security, compliance, technical requirements and real customer processes. Together with account executives, you guide interested parties through complex decision-making and evaluation processes and ensure that technical requirements, feasibility and benefits are brought together clearly and convincingly. Your focus is on creating trust through professionalism, structure and comprehensibility.

Your tasks & responsibilities

  • Expert advice & solution design
    • Analysis of functional, technical and regulatory requirements in the IAM environment
    • Translation of customer requirements into comprehensible solution and usage scenarios
    • Technical evaluation of possible applications of our IAM solutions in the customer context
    • Support in the delimitation of standard and special requirements
  • Live demos & technical support for PoCs
    • Implementation of system-oriented, use-case-oriented demos based on real customer requirements
    • Answering recurring technical and specialist questions as part of the live demos
    • Technical support & moderation of longer proof-of-concept phases in close coordination with account executives
  • Professional positioning & market presence
    • Technical support for trade fair appearances, customer events and conferences in the IAM environment
    • Conducting specialist presentations, live demos and webinars (online & on-site)
    • Active positioning as a specialist contact for Identity & Access Management in the sales and market context
    • Support in the development of technical content for lead generation (e.g. presentations, webinars, demo storylines)
  • Market & product feedback
    • Feedback of technical market and customer requirements to product management and sales
    • Support in the further development of demo concepts, lines of argumentation and technical content
    • Technical support in the onboarding of sales partners and their employees, including communicating product understanding, use cases and argumentation logic
    • Results-oriented support for the sales teams in achieving their sales targets

Your profile

  • Experience in the field of Identity & Access Management, IT security or comparable security-critical IT domains
  • Very good understanding of IAM concepts, processes and typical customer requirements
  • Experience with complex IT environments and integration scenarios
  • Very good knowledge of German and English

You enjoy getting to the bottom of complex issues and presenting them in an understandable way. Your thinking is consistently solution- and benefit-oriented rather than feature-driven. You are confident when communicating with specialist departments, IT and management and you are characterized by a structured and committed way of working as well as your high professional standards.
