Your tasks

As an (Inhouse) Service Engineer Post-Market-Surveillance & Operations (m/f/d) for our BAYOOMED team, you will support our customers as a technical contact person and assist with service support and the operation of our hardware and software-based medical products. Your area of activity includes a varied spectrum of customer contact, troubleshooting, participation in quality assurance and the maintenance of technical documentation. You will also support our Operations Managers in the following areas.

  • Collection and evaluation of relevant information as part of post-market surveillance
  • Checking product databases and cybersecurity exploits
  • Creation and maintenance of documents and reports (e.g. PMS plan, PSUR, trends)
  • Root cause analysis, corrective and preventive measures

Equipped with a workstation full of smartphones, tablets, laptops, Macs and the latest medical hardware, you will work closely with our development team on continuous product improvement, drawing on your practical experience.

Your profile

  • Completed studies in natural sciences/engineering or related fields (computer science, medical technology, etc.) comparable training or equivalent experience in computer science/medical technology
  • Proven relevant, extensive experience with a wide range of medical devices or software
  • Professional experience in service support
  • Distinct customer orientation
  • Knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Android, iOS), cloud providers and apps is an advantage
  • Experience in working with ticket systems
  • Proactive, independent and solution-oriented way of working
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills
  • Enjoy working with smartphones, tablets and hardware in general
  • Knowledge of international laws, regulations, directives and standards in the medical device environment (e.g. ISO 13485, MDR) an advantage
